Original Product Page1 Filtration technology
The Nazava water purifiers are equipped with the Basic Water Needs (BWN)[1] Tulip filter candle.
The candles are cylindrical and have a diameter of 6 centimetres and are 12 cm tall. The filters are made of ceramic with pores of 0.4 micron.
The water filter removes micro-organisms: bacteria, cysts, parasites, fungi, sand, clay and other particles greater than 0.4 micron. The water that is produced is safe to drink according to WHO standards. The filter is effective in making yellowish or whitish water clear.
The ceramic is mixed with colloidal silver that kills bacteria and fungi and helps to keep the stored water clean. The filter candle is filled with granular activated carbon from coconut shell. Activated carbon reduces smell, odour and harmful chemicals.
The filter candle can filter 7000 litres (translates to 1-2 years) of water before it needs to be changed The filter candle is easy to clean.

1 Four reasons to buy a Nazava Water Purifiers
1.1 Reason 1: Safe drinking water
Water from Nazava water purifiers is 100 % safe for human consumption. Compared to boiling the quality of filtered water is better because dust and sand and clay are filtered out and harmful chemical content is reduced. Nazava water filters have been tested in 15 laboratories around the world with positive results, you can find the certificated at our website.
1.2 Reason 2: Economic
Filtering water is cheap. One filter candle can filter up to 7000 litres of water. In the example below the difference in costs between boiling water and filtering water is calculated. Water from the most popular (not the cheapest) Nazava water purifier is 5 times cheaper than boiling and 9 times cheaper than buying water.
The price for the water filter is the price for a complete purifier. Because the filter housing lasts a lot longer than the filter candle, the costs of filtering water are in fact even lower than shown in the table below.
For the actual costs of the water filters, we would like to refer to our website: www.nazava.com.
1.3 Reason 3: Fewer efforts than boiling or buying
Nazava Water filters are easy to use. Boiling water, especially with wood, is a lot more work.
1.4 Reason 4: Better Taste
Taste from Nazava water filters is considered better than boiled water because impurities are removed.
